The New Albany-Floyd County Library selects books, magazines, and audiovisual materials to fill the educational and entertainment needs of our diverse community.

We respect the right and responsibility of parents and guardians to select appropriate materials for children and teens under their care.

If you have questions about the content or age-appropriateness of library materials, a librarian at the Reference Desk or Children’s Desk will be happy to help you.

A librarian may use professional resources including catalog information and reviews to help give you an idea of the book’s content. Librarians are also happy to suggest titles that may be appropriate for your child.
